Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, our business like many others in town, around the country, and around the world has been impacted. None of us have experienced a disruption like this in our lifetime but rather than complain we have decided to accept it as a learning opportunity.
We are a locally owned business, our management team and employees all live in the Brazos Valley. Many of you have shared our growth journey and know most of our drivers on a first name basis. You have shared your travel stories with them and certainly have had discussions on how much the area has changed over the years. While our employees are home, not driving, we will support them with pay, as well as look for other ways we might ease their concerns and share our appreciation for everything they have done for our business and our passengers through the years. As a company, we are also working on additional ways to support those in need in our community; our employees will be available to help (if and when not driving) so if you think we can help please contact Maria.
In the meantime, we have started an initiative to help “Bridge the Gap” for children who are out of school and depend on the food provided at the school. We know local schools are providing free grab and go meals, this is not intended to replace this program, rather provide an additional option for those who can’t make it to pick up all the time. Are we shutting down or closing our operation?
As of right now we are not shutting down or closing our operation, we will continue to monitor the situation and will comply with any directives from our local or national authorities. We all know that demand for airport or event transportation is at an all-time low so this will definitely impact our service. Please be flexible and understanding, this is unchartered territory for everyone. Hopefully, by being pro-active and socially responsible we all contribute and help flatten the propagation curve so our schedule can be reinstated as soon as normality returns.
If you absolutely need to travel, we are here for you.
We will offer private transportation and will be adjusting our private service rates to help you achieve your needs at a reasonable price. If you are in need of private transportation please contact email@example.com.
Our airport shuttle schedule has been modified based on demand and will be evaluated on a daily basis. Please check your specific travel date on our website before making any assumptions. You can also reach us during business hours at 855-303-4415 (check our website) or by emailing us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Our vehicles are being cleaned after each use and our drivers carry hand sanitizer and will continue to do so as long as it is available.
If you are sick or think you could have been exposed, please refrain from traveling.
Is the Ground Shuttle office open?
Following CDC recommendations we are limiting the number of people who can be in our office at once. We allow only essential personnel on-premises and we ask you to refrain from visiting our office unless it is absolutely necessary. We can address all your questions and concerns via e-mail or phone. This is for your good as well as that of our employees. If you need to stop by please follow all CDC recommendations, including keeping your distance from others, not touching your face or any surfaces, and frequently washing your hands.
If you would like to drop off a donation for Bridging the Gap – Bryan/College Station you can leave it under our awning (only during office hours) by the front door and an employee will bring it in.
We can’t wait for normality to return to our lives, in the meantime, let’s focus on supporting each other, supporting local businesses, spending quality time with our loved ones and staying healthy.
